Hehe i'll give it a shot soon and if it takes too long and i get bored i'll order a new one :)   This looks like 1/2" or 3/8" glass so it should take awhile :(

ha – put the biggest one you can fit in there, less the space you need for any equipment :) the breeder would probably be good, give you room for in sump skimmers, return, fuge, fun stuff :)

Ohhh, plus the biggest one will give you extra head room for overflow during outages & water changes :) no leaks!!

Yeah just not sure what to do with the center plywood brace, i want to replace it somehow but not sure how i should do it.  40 breeder would make it so i wouldn't have room to brace probably, i wonder if my 40 long will fit.  This is a really weird stand, it completely collapses, the top part comes off and the front and sides are connected by hinges and then the bottom piece.  There are little grooves that all the pieces fit into, i've never seen a stand like that, the center brace plywood just slides into place also.

I think i'm just going to use my ViaAqua 2300 return for this tank too its 600gph so probably like 400 or so by time it gets back to this tall of a tank.

Wierd – the back of my stand just has some 1×4's vertically in about 3 places that are screwed into the base and the top – could put a few of those on for reinforcement? It was nice, all I had to do was unscrew and slide my sump in, then screw them back in…..

Yeah i'll take some pics when i take the tank off of it to drill it.  So weird how it totally collapses, but it made moving it easy :D .  Maybe i can space out a few 2x2s or 2x4s along the back i'll have to see when i remove the tank.

is the stand custom made? or was it manufactured that way? ???

Really have no idea, looks like it was made that way.

Grats on getting a new tank! Does this mean you are going to be wanting to take this extra anemone off my hands?  ;)

Maybe so Shane, i'll have to see how my scaping works out once i get it all setup.  I'd like to have the nem on it's own little island if i can.

Well so much for this idea, i asked the apartment manager and she said she didn't think it was a good idea for a tank this size.  I've been a bit chicken too since i found out it was a 90 instead of a 75, i thought even a 75 was pushing it.

So i guess i'll be setting up a 40 gallon breeder after all, with a large sump bringing its capacity up to 60 or so gallons.

    Sad sad day.
