    Just wondering how others run carbon if and when they do.

     

    I hang mine in a filter sock or nylon for a few days to a week.

    How about you?

    Do you run it?

    What in?

    What type?

    How often do you use it?  I was pondering moving up to some sort of DYI reactor in place

    of my fancy sock method!!

    I rarely run carbon unless i suspect some sort of pollution has occurred.  When i do run it though I toss it in my filter sock.  I’d also like to build some sort of reactor for it and run it more often.

    I saw one where they used a smaller gaiter aid bottle..

    i run mine in my reactor with my GFO….. prolly doesnt do much, but I usually have a half a cup in all the time… swap it out monthly :D
