The PSAS has once again invited our club and its members to attend the Bob Moore Frag Swap they are holding on February 21st!
The club will have a booth at the event where we will sell any donated frags, and equipment from our club members to help raise money for our Summer BBQ. If you have any unwanted equipment or frags; now is the time to donate. Donation details are here: http://spcdareefs.org/forums/topic/bob-moore-february-21st-donations-travel-etc/
It is a great time, and if you have your PSAS membership card before the event you can also participate in the free PSAS members only raffles they are putting on (your SPCDA membership does not count).
Went a bit out of the ordinary to select our photo of the month winner this month because we can! Happy New Year!
Congratulations Shaun for being selected our POTM winner for January – its a great pic of your old tank, and sure hope your new build will reach this grow out level soon 🙂
Be sure to submit your own photos often. Enter here
Congratulations to all our photo submitters this year!
If your photo was chosen, you do get a free club t-Shirt with this design on it (and I’ve contacted you to get your shirt size), and if you just want this club t-Shirt for yourself, or want to order extras, let Joanne (estanoche) know!
Meeting time! Yes!! We’ve had a nice summer off (plus the BBQ), but its time to head back in from the lake and start talking about fragging!
Join us at Randy’s house (randythereefer) at noon for a tank discussion, and a quick demo on soft coral propagation. Randy has a great 180 gallon mixed reef, a seahorse tank, and probably many other tanks he would prefer we don’t ask him to admit to at this point (the salt is strong with this one!).
